**British singer-songwriter, producer and multi-instrumentalist Luke Marzec returns home to Buckfastleigh for a special homecoming performance at the MIC, joined by his Big Soul Band.** **With more than a decade of experience as a songwriter and producer, Marzec has built a reputation for his distinctive blend of soul, jazz and experimental production. His music combines soulful songwriting with richly layered instrumentation, and has gained support from BBC Introducing, Radio 6 and Radio 2, while his releases have accumulated millions of streams online. ** **After releasing several EPs beginning with** _ **Chances** _ **in 2018, Marzec released his debut album** _ **Something Good Out of Nothing** _ **in 2025 — a record written and recorded in Buckfastleigh and launched at the Barrel House in Totnes. ** **Since forming his latest band in Buckfastleigh in 2025, Marzec has led a dynamic quartet that debuted to a sold-out audience in August that year.
