Somatic Dance (the Nia Technique)

Move your Body, Free your Mind Nia somatic movement classes bring a powerful combination of mindfulness, guided gentle dance and music, which can be transformational for body, mind, emotions, and spirit. Each class is carefully crafted with two warm up songs, tracks in the middle that gently increase your heart rate and then some slower songs at the end which incorporate an element of moving on the floor. Additional embodiment practices, meditation and/or visualisation are included in my 90 minute classes. All body sizes and shapes welcome. Adaptable to your body and level of intensity you desire - learning to tune in to your body's way. No experience needed, just come exactly as you are.
