Full Moon Women's Nature Dance with Rose offering - 28 June
Join us for the second Women's Nature Dance of the 2026 season! This time we'll be gathering just before the full moon in Capricorn, often known as the Strawberry moon reflecting on the ripening of berries and abundance of early harvest. One week on from Summer Solstice we'll be gathering late afternoon to enjoy these longer Midsummer days, and maybe we'll be blessed with a glimpse of the almost full moon as we close our dance and stroll back to our cars. Imagine women’s circle meets ecstatic dance meets silent disco meets nature connection..this is it.. and on the beautiful dance floor/wild lands of Dartmoor! _ **✨ we know the divine magic and healing that women coming together creates. Let’s call it in.** _ _ **✨ we know the divine beauty and belonging that exists within our wider body of Nature. Let’s gather there. ** _ _ **✨ we know the divine wisdom our bodies hold, and how our bodies love to move. Let’s invite that** _ **🌹** With roses in full bloom this month **a special Rose offering will be included in the ticket price** so we can all drop in together with this beautifully sensual, local and seasonal plant medicine and ally as part of our dance journey. **Open your heart and blossom into your fullness with this offering of a Rose water spray to cleanse and anoint, a Tincture and special Rose Tea.** If you'd like to be kept in the loop of future Women's Nature Dances, I invite you to join the [Women's Nature Dance Whatsapp group](https://chat.whatsapp.com/GpYA0L1hBHwI9qDtGGSULb) - admin only posts. These events are for women, trans women and non-binary people (AFAB). ### ### **The flow** **Arrive** - by 4:30pm at car park **Walk leaves meeting point** - 4:45pm **Opening circle ** - 5:30pm **Dance begins** - 6pm **Dance finishes** - 8pm **After the dance** - up to you, you may wish to enjoy the sunset with a view, or simply follow the same path back to your car. ~ aside from when we open and close the space, this will mostly be a non-verbal space so we can drop into our bodies and our wider body of Nature ~ the dance journey itself will be around 1hr 40 mins ~ maybe you’d like to extend your Dartmoor time and camp out, it’s a beautiful spot for both sunset and sunrise! ### ### **The practicals** This dance is with silent disco headphones which are provided and come with their own individual volume control. This enables us to enjoy the beautiful wild Dartmoor landscape without disturbing the natural environment or others walkers. 🚗 **Parking** - Bonehill Rocks car park, 15 mins from Ashburton. There are 3 car parks at Bonehill Rocks and a few grass verge spaces so there are options but not lots, so please do try to lift share as much as possible. 🌿 **Dartmoor Dance Floor** - 25-35 mins walk from car parks, exact location will be shared upon booking. I’ll meet you at dance location. The walk includes some up/downhill but not overly steep for long - our reward is expansive views with fewer walkers :) 👣 **Walk options** - Please give yourself plenty of time to park, walk and land at dance location by 5:30pm for our opening circle together. Further details for each of the below will be shared upon booking: - You may wish to make your own way - perhaps walk earlier, enjoy a picnic nearby. Maps pin for dance spot will be shared upon booking to support this. - You may prefer to walk with others and be guided - at 4:45pm a designated person will be walking from a meeting point, maps pin shared upon booking. 📞 Heads up no/limited phone signal at first two Bonehill car parks, and usually signal at third car park and dance location (this is true for me with Vodafone) #### **What to bring/wear** - Comfy clothes for walking and dancing - Plenty of water - A cup for the Rose tea - Snacks - Suncream, sun hat and warm layers for unpredictable Dartmoor weather - Maybe a head torch if you choose to stay later on the moor after the dance - If you’d like to: - Food to enjoy together afterwards if you’d like to continue soaking up the magic - Something for the alter space - Maybe an offering for the land to give thanks - Your intention for your dance #### #### **Timings** Please note timings are an indicator only and may vary slightly due to the variable nature of being outdoors. Often it can take time to land and settle in an outdoor environment. It's super helpful if people arrive on time and gather quickly when called to begin. Whilst I'll do my best to stay on schedule, I appreciate your patience if things run a bit later than expected. Thank you for your understanding! #### **Weather ** To be together outdoors in good weather is a JOY, and whilst we pray for this, ultimately we’re in the UK and can’t guarantee the weather. Also the weather in Dartmoor is particularly unpredictable. If weather forecast includes possibility of light rain we will go ahead. If forecast is heavy rain, and it is deemed too wet and/or too windy, an alternative location might be organised or the event postponed. I thank you in advance for your understanding. #### Health & Safety Please note that by booking a ticket for this event you acknowledge you accept full responsibility for your personal health and safety throughout this event, including the walk there/back and the dance itself. #### Refund Policy Please note tickets are non-refundable unless the dance is cancelled or postponed. In the event of a postponement, you will have the option to either keep your ticket for the rescheduled date or a future Women’s Nature Dance. If you can no longer make the dance, tickets are transferable and can be sold or passed on to someone else. **If you'd love to come but don't currently have the financial flow to afford to, please message me directly and let's discuss other possible exchange options.** * * * #### A bit about your facilitator As an experienced space holder, breathwork facilitator, ceremonialist, grief tender and artist, Michelle holds a variety of offerings and ceremonies, often with ritual, song and poetry woven throughout in reverence to this one wild and precious life, and as an invitation to gather together in community; whether that be to breathe, to grieve, to dance, to share in circle, or to mark the change of seasons.
